Heute

After a beautiful and warm day, we arrived at Bouk Kale at 3:30 pm, where also a boat from the Turkish Coast Guard docked. After the welcome tea and our obligatory happy landing drink, I went for a swim and did some yoga on the pier. Opposite at the Loryma Beach Restaurant the Coast Guard officers kept on waving to me, so I visited them after my exercises were done... Again, I met extremely lovely Turks, who unfortunately speak little English - nevertheless, we found a way to communicate: humour and the waiter operated as an interpreter! They told me that for quite some time very toxic puffer fish from Asia had reached the Mediterranean, they are dangerous to humans as well as to other fish... Nevertheless, we regarded it as cold-hearted to let the fish choke ashore.

We had dinner at the Loryma Beach restaurant:
We chose in the kitchen the fresh fish and discussed the ingredients – of
course we yearned for delicious fresh chips!
